GAYHEMikey 8,237
(German article) https://www.t-online.de/region/berlin/news/id_91969954/berlin-trans-frauen-vor-club-brutal-zusammengeschlagen-staatsschutz-ermittelt-.html https://m.bild.de/regional/berlin/berlin-aktuell/berlin-mann-pruegelt-vor-club-auf-transsexuelle-frauen-ein-79692034.bildMobile.html Sunday morning at 5AM a 20 year old trans woman left a Berlin club and was transphobic insulted and beaten by a 20 year old man. Her 25 year old friend who was trying to help got beaten up by another man. He jumped on her face and was kicking her while she was laying on the floor. The bouncer looked and did nothing. The two men even where having a smoke while the injured women were waiting for an ambulance and the police. One man was caught, the other one fled. I am shocked and disgusted in what kind if world we‘re still living in. NO DUCT TAPE - NO MISSON
Noah 27,418
It‘s disgusting that no one called the police from outside of the club or just seeing what has happened. The Police also does not do it‘s job in protecting people. The Security and the two men deserve jail time. This is a hatecrime. ⟡ ⋆ ˚。⋆🦢⋆ ˚。⋆⟡

Luc 4,776
Anyone knows which club this is? It's sad that there's no safe space for trans, non-binary and otherwise queer people anywhere. A lot of people (for instance queer refugees from Ukraine) think that Berlin is that place, but hate crimes are still a big thing all over 'western' Europe. hoeslay 4,244
A gay bashing happened outside of a club in LA a week or so ago too. I hate it here.

There are a lot of save places in Berlin and its one of the most queer friendly citys in Europa, sadly attacks like this happen since you cant control every single person. In my personal experience i have never felt unsafe in this city in 7 years living here, going out and being myself. Like in probably every other city in the world there are places i wouldnt recommend going to in certain situations, but thats just living in a big city in general.. saving people, hunting things - the family business
Lukasson 508
That’s just a few minutes from where I live. Absolutely disgusting. If you read the google reviews for this club, you‘re not going to be surprised about the behavior of the bouncer though.

Half of security ppl or bouncers don't care about their job or have any real balls to deal with anything when a situation does occur In many cases they might as well not be there. It's just a pointless expense
Medulla 32
To think Berlin is one of the most gay friendly city in Europe, it's really sad that there's no really a safe city in the world without these horrific transphobic and homophobic crimes. NotAlice 393
The trans girl that was beaten is a YouTuber and I just watched the video where she explained what happened to her and her friend. I am sad about the around 50 people standing around the scene outside of the club without doing something or even calling the police!! The guy who beat them even said things like “they are trannies, it’s fine to beat them, they are not woman!!” When someone said that you don’t beat women… DISGUSTING! if you understand German you can watch her video - her name is PersiaX she said she will also plan to go to court because of the bouncers of the club, which did not help but also laughed at the situation. Gladly there is supposedly camera footage of what happened so there might be a chance that those people get hopefully what they deserve
