Did I say everyone? I said multiple, meaning more than just one person should be honored for standing out during the year. As it would be fair because that’s REALITY.

What a closed minded approach and quick to judge. The Grammys started in 1959, when albums were WAY more sparsely released and when radio/sales/consumption were completely different. The barrier for entry is a lot lower than having to land a huge record deal with the advancement of streaming and digital distribution. We've changed from having a couple of big hit albums over a year to basically rotating hit albums once a month if not faster. That doesn't mean that changing the rules would just make it a participation trophy. Currently a 12:1 chance of winning in 1959 is now a 40:1 chance of winning with the current system. When having 2-3 trophies for a category would bring it closer to the original chances.
