Also, she wasn't pitchy AT ALL?

She was lol. Not horrifically, but she definitely was.

I love JazzGa just as much as I love her pop music and her performance of Do I Love You was stellar, especially the last 30 seconds.

But LFS was a mess, like she had just snorted nine lines of blow beforehand, went on stage with her vibrator on maximum and put on the stupidest nasal voice she could. I wish she performed Let's Do It instead or Do I Love You in full.

The way she sings Love for Sale on the album is gorgeous but this performance was literally slurred at points, like she lost control of the words. And the "Jazz dancing" is really uncomfortable. She gives away all he poise and control. I think she's over affecting her voice to sound "Jazzy" and it's just making her sound strained and off-rhythm. I wish she'd stick to a clear vocal performance with grace of the Cheek to Cheek tour.

I hope she doesn't visit this cult site. Just enjoy her performance and stop criticizing everything she does. :fail: Some of ya'll are just plain rude.

Most of the opinions on here (this thread specifically) are far from rude. They are honest articulate OPINIONS and just because she wasn't praised to the heavens doesn't mean that everyone didn't love to see her perform. As fans who watch and listen to everything she does, we notice when things are not where they could be and possibly why if the reasons are obvious. Gaga is an incredible performer and vocalist. Calling out the issues with her performance doesn't change that or change anyone being her fan. I would give the same opinion to her face about her performance or any other things she asked me about because its not rude. It is 10000% worse to be a fake yes man than simply stating why you disliked or liked something. As a professional I am sure she would appreciate that more than blatant kiss ass comments. I may be a simple peasant but I know what I like and don't and my thoughts are valid. This forum could really use a dose of maturity.

Some of the critiques are constructive, but let's be real. Some of them are also way out of line and just plainly rude and disrespectful. People can obivously critique something if they didn't like it, but the way some people are reacting to her performance is shameful.

I thought she did a great job but at this point it’s been years that we’ve been complaining. I think her vocals are damaged. Not severely but she does not sing like she used to. Her voice cracks at least once per performance these days when that never used to happen. I love her but I’m concerned because I’m also in love with her vocals. It is what it is I guess

The Love for Sale section of it was disappointing in it’s messiness, but the Do I Love You section was absolutely wonderful. A solid 7 or so I’d say.

Monsters are finally being honest about her current vocal skills, it's been a mess for a couple of years. Her tone is grating like never before.

Vocal regression is more common than improvement over the years, it's only going to get worse from here.

I absolutely loved it she stole the show hands down. My respect for her has been growing everyday for like a decade now. She’s an icon legend wbk. My boyfriend was crying during her performance  bc it was so heart warming and amazing. I know Tony’s time is almost up and it’s so sad to see a legend break due to a mental disease. My heart goes out to him ♥️

It’s completely fine to be honest about your opinion about a performance. Some people act like you have to praise every single thing Gaga does to be accepted in GGD and that is ridiculous. Almost every opinion in this thread has been said in a respectful way so your post is only to create unnecessary drama.

The performance was messy and pitchy, but I'll give her a pass. I think her emotions overtook her. She looked beautiful, however!

I respectfully disagree.

Vocals can peak at 25 or 45. If YOU believe Gaga's vocal peak was 2014, when she was 28, that's certainly possible.

If that's what YOU believe, then there's no point in dragging her every single time she performs, is there? It's 2022.

She CAN'T turn back time, you know?

What is she supposed to do? Cancel the tour and RETIRE tomorrow? Should she have retired in 2014? 🤔

Should Tony have retired DECADES ago??

Why stan a 36-year-old singer if you're obsessed with youth? The choice is yours.

Chill sis, the OP is asking opinions and I posted videos as receipts to be subjective.
