I like the song, it's a fun summer jam, but this came out all wrong. I don't think the crowd are all that acquainted with Camila, they probably only know her for Havana, if that. So the crowd is basically dead when she sings. When Ed came in, it picked up a bit but not as much as I thought it would. Camila's struggling to move about efficiently in those ridiculously long tent-like trousers that are drowning her. And their voices sounded somewhat off-key. Ultimately, I think the crowd didn't really know what to make of the song. As evidenced by its underperformance in the UK charts, most of them probably hadn't heard it and were trying to adjust to what was a new sound compared to what's around right now. It takes a while to get into this song and so expecting a big crowd to get down and sing along to it wasn't going to happen. It's a shame as this is such a big occasion to put a song out there in the hopes that it'll take off but it seemed to be very poorly thought out.
