Bazaar 5,752
Five people were killed in a shooting attack on Tuesday in a suburb of Tel Aviv, in the third such attack in Israel within days, prompting police to go on the highest level of alert since the fighting with Gaza last year. A police spokesman said that the shooting took place in two different areas in Bnei Brak. Footage from the scene shows the assailant, armed with an assault rifle, entering a convenience store and firing at a young man, who is seen escaping into a nearby building. The shooter then aimed his rifle at another person riding on a bike, but missed, and then opened fire at a passing car. The car came to a stop after the initial fire, at which point the assailant came closer to it and fired through the window at the driver, who was killed. https://www.haaretz.com/amp/israel-news/four-critically-wounded-in-shooting-in-tel-aviv-suburb-1.10706864 ***WARNING GRAPHIC CONTENT*** The attack happened 15 minutes from my house, and i’m afraid it’s just the beginning. My heart goes out to the victims’s families. IT HAS TO STOP!!!!
hashem 180
That is so terrible. Poor and innocent souls that have been taken by ISIS „fans“. Meanwhile, Israel is the only country in the ME that provides even the basic human rights of a democracy to its Arab/Muslim inhabitants. I am saying this as a child of Muslim war refuges myself. I grew up in Germany because my parents were able to flee from the Bosnian genocide against the Muslims. Due to my studies in religious studies and political philosophy, I have been to Israel many times but also to many regions in the ME, such as Iran, Irak and many Kurdish regions. While Israel surely has issues when it comes to systemic racism, as any other country, even Germany and any other western country DEFINITELY has, it did definitely did strike me in so many microcosmic societies throughout the land as a prime example for coexistence. Therefore I am deeply saddened by news as this. The civil rights that Arabs/ Muslims have in ANY other Arab country are not even remotely close to what they have in Israel. Are you seriously comparing the liberation movement of the Palestinians, who seek to have self determination from a state that has bombarded them with war, displacement, discrimination and blocking human rights to ISIS, an Islamic nationalist group? We don’t know anything about this attack yet, but a prior one was done by Islamic State, not the Palestinian movement. You simply can’t compare the two movements. A propaganda move by the Israeli government. Nothing has tied these attacks to Palestinian groups, but yes to Jihadism. Still not the same thing. Dear coolninjaguy, if you wish to add or dispute my specific argument, please do so. Otherwise, your contribution is completely meaningless. Also, please show respect to the victims of ISIS ideology. As a Muslim myself, I found this deeply disrespectful towards the victims of so-called „Islamism“

I recommend you do some research on Israel's ethnic cleansing, apartheid, and persecution of Palestinians before making comments about Israel as the beacon of human rights you think it is. Why was that necessary? Are you calling those who support Palestinian liberation “ISIS Fans” by linking the question of Palestinian independence do an attack carried out by IS? Your report is not connected to that at all. Learn to differentiate. This decision made by the current UN investigator, which by the way overlooks the horrendous crimes by Arab countries committed to its one citizens, is being denounced by most of the heads in the UN and EU. https://www.algemeiner.com/2022/03/20/israeli-un-envoy-denounces-report-from-harvard-law-group-palestinian-ngo-alleging-apartheid-in-west-bank/

But if your idea of „supporting the Palestinian movement“(for which I certainly have lots of sympathy and encouragement for), is the shooting of civilians..that must have went above me..that would be tragic indeed
