Try her album Vespertine! It’s more traditionally melodic and has lush orchestrals

Ns sistren, but I have a hard time seeing that as a description for Debut, Post, Homogenic, Vespertine, or Vulnicura. I didn’t enjoy Fossora or Utopia, but she has a lot of stuff that’s genuinely melodically beautiful (“One Day,” “Stonemilker,” “Unravel,” “Yoga,” “Hyperballad,” “It’s Not Up To You”). Ik these are fighting words, but a lot of Melanie’s recent material has really struck me as a poor man’s Björk

I'm not enough of a militant Melanie stan to argue with that  but I do like Melanie's music/aesthetic more so there's that  

Maybe I'm just a poor man and the Press Fighter is too "what Monsters thought ARTPOP would be" for me

I'm still early in my Bjork discovery journey, because everytime I commit to an album I end up crying in the subway  Idk I find her way of expressing ideas so deeply touching
