This is HUGE for her. I'm so happy for her. If I recall correctly her highest charting album here landed somewhere around 30. Her last album only charged around 100, granted there wasn't any physical copies available release week. I actually that one may not have charged at all until the vinyl shipped so I could be wrong. Anyways, still a huge deal for her!

Who said that? We're celebrating the biggest debut of her career :vegas:

I guess it just speaks to the unique trajectory of her career. I first heard of her when she put out nuclear winter (which somehow is over a decade old now) so it's been weird to see so many people just now getting into her music/reacting and interacting with her like a newer/smaller artist especially considering she had a BBH100 #1 in 2014. But it's not a bad thing, she's a great songwriter and I'm glad to see her career continue to grow.

Nuclear Seasons* and yea I can understand that. I became a fan of hers in late 2013, just a few months before Fancy dropped. But after her Sucker album cycle she really wasn't part of the mainstream conversation again, until now. Case in point, the only times she has performed on SNL were back then for Sucker, and now for Crash. And it feels especially rewarding now because Crash is more authentically her. She went through an intense artistic journey since then, lots of experimentation. Now she's found her sound, her niche, her fanbase, and as a longtime follower it's rewarding to see her back in the top 10

I never in my life could have imagined seeing a CHARLI XCX album in the top 10 of the Billboard Album chart:bradley:
