Canada has long been an incomplete Universal Healthcare system with gaps on certain things where it was almost 100% privatized

 

This now covers the most critical gaps and Canada can become more like the European Countries with a true Universal Healthcare system

Almost every major expert agrees Canada is about to go thru a major housing correction of up to 20% to 30% price drops so if housing gets better there will be no cons to Canada

 

Then again a 30% housing crash would literally take us to where we were last year when housing had already been atrocious for over a decade so maybe literally no one will notice the difference

Excluding NYC, LA, San Francisco and most of California in general... I do not get why American complain about housing costs. By comparison so many places are soooooooooo much worse

 

Edit: I guess u could say the way USAs health costs are the biggest social economic problem for Canadians it's housing

To add to it, I even have secondary insurance through my husband's work. It'll just be interesting to see how much it'll all cost. I know the ambulance ride itself will probably be in the thousands.

Last time I checked housing in FL is at an average of ~$250k USD. But you have to keep in mind that's big cities like Miami, Orlando, and Jacksonville skewing it higher...or maybe it's a lot of rural areas skewing it lower  anyway, my point wasn't that home prices are high, it was that I...am broke

The house next door to mine just went on the market for $190k and the agent expects it to be sold within a month

The only way I'm going to be a home owner is in a few months my grandma is putting my name on the deed to this one so when she dies it'll already be my house. I won't have to inherit it.

I had an ovarian cyst that ruptured on Friday. I called my husband (he was at work) and he called an ambulance. In the ER, they were about to send me home until they realized I was running a fever. Anyway, I had some kind of infection for the cyst (there was fluid/blood in my pelvic region) so they kept me in the hospital until just a few hours ago. I'm doing okay, just super tired and still have some pain, but it's tolerable.
