Just a reminder to any Republican gays, you are voting against your own community. Shame.

Ok but what about straightĀ atheists who get married legally in a non-religious setting?

Oh well I guess it's just homophobia and bigotry then

The premise of that question was so stupid. Even he admitted it himself when he said that multiple religions have marriages. Marriage doesn't stem from religion, religion just absorbed its importance.

Without laws and tax breaks, marriage is just two people in a committed relationship.

Gentle reminder that this is still on the minds of the conservative parties and they almost always are able to move in unison to enact change.Ā

So you can imagine what their plans are if they take more control back.Ā

Please don't forget that if you are able to vote in this country.Ā Ā

This is so stupid. I hate the guy. First of all the basis for the institution of marriage was to sell your daughter to the highest bidder legally. It was literally "Here is my daughter. What do I get in return?"Ā Ā

A 70 year old Republican from Texas fearing being labeled a bigot?!?

From his Wikipedia page:

In June 2020, amid reports that Russia had paid the Taliban bounties to kill American soldiers and that Trump had been briefed on the subject months earlier,Ā Cornyn defended an assertion by Trump that he had never been briefed on the subject. Cornyn said, "I think the president can't single-handedly remember everything, I'm sure, that he's briefed on."

On May 28, 2021, Cornyn voted against creating an independent commission to investigate theĀ 2021 United States Capitol attack.

He was one of 22 senators to sign a letter to Trump urging him to withdraw the United States from theĀ Paris Agreement.

Apparently this was his intro video to some Republican convention. The pop girls are not safe:

Just more old white men who areĀ terrifiedĀ of change and see their beliefs systems dwindling, trying to bring back the 1950'sĀ :samanthac: nothing to see here.Ā

Btw Jackson has so much class. The way she handled this was so reserved and professional. My blood was boiling watching this and I'm sure hers was too.Ā
