hELXIG 43,092 Posted March 21, 2022 Share Posted March 21, 2022 Sweetener is her best album I remember listening to that album when it dropped and thinking 'holy sh.it this album is fire, not a single losing song on here, everyone's gonna love it and her popularity is gonna skyrocket!' and then... everyone hated it and panned it as her worst album yet. Fans still bag on it constantly... but it's the only album of hers where I like every song start to finish I felt like my opinion was sooo unpopular back then lol I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin. The holy trinity of Dangerous Woman: Touch It, Sometimes, and Thinkin Bout You 3. The makeup line meh and she should've done a shoe/clothing line instead cuz her insta outfits were cute... especially during Sweetener Era... at least the perfume line is doing well so that's good 4. Diversity Queen wbk (she looks like all the races mixed up and put together in one human being) 5. FAKE SMILE makes me tear up everytime I hear it, along with My Everything and Ghostin 6. Sweetener is such a coherent album and every song is amazing, it’s the one I go back to the most. My Everything is just filled with bops too. i agree with @waterfallthat Positions is prob her best lead off single. Ariana is as perfect a pop-star as Katy was during her peak, and by that I mean that is the extent of all she has to offer. That's not a bad thing either, but a few question marks definitely pop up when I see people 'over-consume' her content because...well, there's literally nothing there.
