Her former attitude in interviews (egotistical punk rebel unafraid to talk about sex) helped her career way more than her new attitude does (all about kindness, being ladylike). 3. She hasn’t earned that diva status yet to take a 4 year break and expect the GP to wait around for her (unlike an Adele or a Beyoncé) 4. Joanne was treated more unfairly than ARTPOP. If ARTPOP came out in 2012 it would have been pretty successful even tho it was a downgrade at the time from her previous work. Example: Her latest pop performance (VMAs 2020) left a close of her speaking to Ari in the middle of the song which put them off for the ending. Like what??? It was prerecorded and done multiple times how did her team leave that in? 2. Growing up and setting boundaries is of course okay, but gaga did a complete 180. 3. Yes, of course everyone is a hypocrite but gaga makes it a mission to tell the public one thing and go hardcore on her beliefs but then her actions contradict everything. How many times in the 2008-2015 years did we hear how much she hates hollywood and hated selling products and being a money making machine? But now she has embraced the hollywood life and online interacts with us when she is selling something. At the end of the day she can do what she wants but it's totally fair for the fans to call her out on it. 4. When the Fame came out it was so far from what was commercial at the time. Just because it became commercial doesn't mean that the album was created for commercial purposes in the same way that chromatica was. The fame was groundbreaking at the time, chromatica is very safe. (I love chromatica btw) 5. The tour most likely had to go ahead other or not she wanted it otherwise they would lose millions on sales, insurance etc. Let's not remind ourselves of how she flawlessly promoted L4S with interviews, specials and livestreams during the pandemic meanwhile crickets for chromatica. Chromatica would have been close if it wasn’t of COVID. - I skip Marry The Night & Born This Way. i’m so sorry -ARTPOP (the album) took years to grow on me. Back in 2013, it felt like a MASSIVE downgrade from the first three albums and especially after Born This Way and it’s era. That’s probably why I didn’t really stick with it in the beginning. - Jewels & Drugs is dead to me. I automatically skip it when it comes on, and I deleted it from my iTunes years ago so I’m always surprised when I hear it after Sexxx Dreams instead of MANiCURE. - I started liking ARTPOP (the song) and Swine only last year. They were skips for me before that. Thank god I saw the light because they’re ABSOLUTE BOPS. - Mary Jane Holland is a ****ing GEM. - Artrave: The ARTPOP Ball is Gaga’s worst tour in terms of production, stage design and performance quality. - Joanne World Tour was her best vocally. - Diamond Heart is an underrated bop. - I have a hard time enjoying Babylon and Enigma. They’re not BAD, but I guess I feel indifferent towards them. - Sour Candy (Gaga’s part) gives me ARTPOP vibes and I’m here for it. - Plastic Doll & 1000 Doves are absolute BOPS. - I’m tired of LoveGame, Telephone, Applause and Million Reasons being performed live.
