I’m confused as to why people are saying it’s not good. It's obviously good, all shows will sell out by their respective dates. The only show that worries me is the Netherlands ones, her manager better get his ass off and promote the show over there.

It's just natural that tickets prices are going down when the date of the show is approaching it doesn't "shaming" or "downgrading" Gaga's powerhouse as one of the greatest artists in the world It ain’t natural for someone who has her demand, she can sell out all the shows without dropping prices, the focus has to be on promoting dates in their respective cities, which is the least to be done. People are just choosing it rather than Arnhem 'cause its the first date. Estàvem al cel, ara estem a l'infern

Especially my date in Atlanta, like 10k tickets are still available? Gurl.... Apparently people got tickets through MLB.com for Boston and they were far less expensive than tickets purchased off Live Nation/Ticketmaster (because of the resale thing). yeah I got my Chicago tickets through MLB.com and my GA tickets were suuuper cheap compared to what Tickemaster/Live Nation was charging for them. mmmy name ~isn't~ aliceee

Hachi 52
Tickets won’t sell out until the ticket prices go down in NA.. which is what I’m waiting for. There are droves of 395 standard tickets at least for SF (that were raised from 350 to 395 originally).
Sunny21 608
Should sell out by August. Either way, a 90% sold-out STADIUM concert = A LOT MORE MONEY than a 100% sold-out ARENA concert. Do the math. Optics isn't everything. 🙂 Sure, she could do a 30-date ARENA tour in 30 cities, instead of a 15-date STADIUM tour in 14 cities, but traveling is HARD on her. It also costs more so why bother. The last thing Gaga needs is another cancellation for health reasons. She'd be upset and probably depressed again and nobody wants that to happen, least of all her team and Live Nation. I'd have to say it makes sense to start the tour in Europe. She'll be back in the U.S. by the time she's a little tired and missing family. Then a couple weeks off and 2 more shows in California, her home state. Perfect. Where are all those naysayers? Keep it, nobody cares about a 2-year-old album. Or, it'll never happen, she's just waiting for an "excuse" to cancel the tour! 🙂 she/her/hers

Monsters, explain? im wondering why enigma sold out almost instantly for the first set of shows and this tour still hasnt sold out, considering its back in action, i mean i know smaller venue is prob a big thing, but i would figure since its a tour and its been a while since she toured, why its still pretty available in the USA

Yeah, that's my date as well, and it's really not selling well. I can understand, though, because prices are freakin' outrageous. My seats are up in the nosebleeds, and they were about $150 each. I paid less for AWESOME seats at the artRAVE, C2C Tour, and Joanne Tour.

monstertoronto 10,230
I keep posting this explanation but people never seem to see it. High prices on tours is the norm now as a way to combat scalpers on the secondary market and give the artists a much bigger share of the profits instead of these scalpers. The old pricing which was usually around the $100 mark that everyone could afford always triggered immediate sellouts, with zero price resistance in the market, indicating the price was too low, and scalpers would buy up most of these and sell them on StubHub or any other secondary market for much higher prices, whatever the market will bear, which often meant prices in the high 100s or even low thousands per ticket. This meant the artist itself gets a share of a low priced $90 ticket, while a scalper enjoys a much greater share of profits on the same ticket by charging $300 for it. Artists are now charging these higher prices right away to keep more of the true market value for themselves. They are happy for tickets to sell slowly over time, knowing that when tickets are more expensive it means people have to think about it more or save up for longer, but eventually they will do it closer to the date. They’re fine with tickets being sold up to the actual day of the performance and that is usually what happens. They’re even fine with tickets not selling out. Selling out means there are no more tickets to buy meaning there are people out there who probably want to give them their money but cannot. A stadium tour gives the opportunity to maximize the number of people who want to spend the money to buy a ticket. Even if they don’t totally sell out, they know they’re getting as many people as possible in that market. It’s very much an intentional strategy and Taylor’s Reputation tour demonstrated how successful and profitable it can be. Gaga has already more than sold the equivalent of at least one sold out arena show in Toronto (Scotiabank arena holds 19,000). Rogers Centre stadium has a capacity of 50,000. Even if the configuration is more like 45,000, the fact that Gaga has already sold 38,000 and at these massive prices, means the Toronto show, and the tour in general if you look at the other numbers, is already a screaming success.
