I'm so bored of Ed Sheehan right now. It's like he can't go 5 minutes without having a new song or album out. I miss the old days of album cycles where an artist would release a few singles, drop the album, do a tour and then disappear for a couple of years.

He says this won’t be a hit in New Zealand but it will be somewhere else on the words and says that statement will make sense when people hear it. That leads me to believe this may be the traditional folk record he’s always wanted to make? Or perhaps a unique single from the repackaging of = since he initially said that would be released in time for tour in April, that may have changed though.

granted he did just do that. he hadn't released since 2017, and then released in 2019 and 2021. he did disappear for a couple of years.
