It was pretty obvious to me tbh. Ridley Scott is still highly regarded and look at the pool of talent he attracts. Gaga would definitely be in a new film of his. I’m hoping Tarantino can have her star in one of his films. Especially if  KIll Bill 3 ends up happening as he wants it to

LOL. I feel terrible saying this, but he really has lost his touch. It's not even that his film are bad (I thought Gucci was decent if flawed; The Last Duel was good with very few flaws)....it's that they kind of range from so so to good-ish without ever being truly great.

Even The Last Duel-which was a good enough film-had issues with the direction imo. I can't recall which critic (it was a major, respected one), but he basically said something along the lines of The Last Duel was a bit overhyped because critics were happy to see a big budget adult film that wasn't a sequel/comic book/action movie with a "serious" tone.

He really did seem to like her a lot, too. I think he's lost his touch, but I wouldn't be shocked if it did happen.
