So, every concert I've been to where I had seats (a good number) everyone just stands up immediately and basically stays standing the whole time. Some people might be grouchy about this, but it's kinda just the way it is. I think especially at a Gaga show everyone around you will be standing as well anyway!

(this is my experience in Canada/US, I've never been to a concert in Europe so social conventions might be different... but I'd be surprised! Especially with Gaga)

Same.  I always get a seat because I don't want to have to get there several hours early.  Also, I record videos at the concerts and from a seat I'm above the heads of the people standing on the floor.  Also, like @LaLa said, people with seats usually stand the entire concert, but there's not much room for dancing.  I always try to get front row seats so no heads will be in the way.  Try to buy your ticket in the first minute of the pre-sale if that's a possibility for you.  If you go for standing, you might have to be very lucky to get a place to stand close to the stage.  I don't know how far from the stage the closest seats are at your venue.

I live outside the space time continuum.

Thanks again for ur advice. Those are the seats that I went for! I'm right by the stage on the side and on the front row so there are no seats/people in front of me. Only the people who are on the floor but they are much lower I believe. Gosh this is sooooo exciting :bradley:

Standing, arrive early for the queue, TAKE A JACKET AND CEREAL BARS. I cannot stress enough how you'll need the cereal bars for energy, easy to eat, East to store, and getting cold is a nightmare and could ruin a good time!

1. Don't go in with expectations, expectations ruin everything in life.

2. Bring a book in case Lady Starlight is opening

3.  I personally recommend floor tickets. Sitting in seats sort of feels like watching on tv.  And if you don't like the people in your area, you're stuck with them.  But honestly, being on the floor feels much more real to me.

2. LOL!!

so when ur standing and the show offcially starts at 8 - and entry is at like 6 - at what time should one be there to get more or less good spots? (Not neccessarily in the very front but also not in the very back) ? Cuz I don't wanna wait there all day long

I think I got to the TMB and artRave at like 1/2 pm for doors open at 6. JWT I was way more relaxed and got there at like 5 or 6. And I still had a good view. You can always kind of work your way into the dancing and the crowd.
