I certainly wasn't expecting EMQ part II in terms of the modern flamenco sound, but I did expect something with a similar level of depth, meaning and maturity to it. Yes yes she's the artist and whatever, 'if you don't like it don't listen to it!!' but as a fan who's waited 3 years for this, I'm allowed to express my disappointment about it. I’m personally enjoying this era so far, so no, we’re not « all agreeing ». Reminds me of the Solar Power criticism. Personally I think when you are at that level, when the whole world is listening to you, you are working with the best writers and producers in the world, and literally millions of dollars are being spent to make and produce the album, there is no excuse for releasing garbage like Chicken Teriyaki. If she'd released this stuff as just a fun random single ok, but not on this massively anticipated and highly promoted album. I was disappointed, posted about it once and you would never catch me in every single thread posting about it.
