Teletubby 150,183
H.E.R. has Grammy Awards, Soul Train Awards, an Academy Award, and more to her name and is only getting started. The 24-year-old musician added another accolade to her growing list on Wednesday as she was honored with the Impact Award at the 2022 Billboard Women In Music celebration. “It’s insane,” she answered when asked about receiving the Impact Award. She continued, “That’s what I always say in all [of] my interviews. Everything I talk about, it’s all about impact. For them to be honoring me with the Impact Award is so dope and surreal. It’s confirmation. I’m really grateful.” She added when asked of her 8 Grammy nominations this year, “It’s so exciting and, you know, it’s not validation, it’s confirmation. That’s what I will always say. It’s just a reminder, like, okay, you kind of know what you’re doing a little bit. At the end of the day, it’s crazy that it’s happened this fast, and I’m just grateful. I’m trying to be better than I was yesterday and continue to create—because I love it—and create for my fans who love it and are impacted by my words.” source "You b*tch!" ~ Rat Boy

Pennywise 36,079
I don't think I've ever heard a single song from her, does that mean I truly live in a sewer, or- So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted.
Roughhouse Dandy 11,594
She truly deserves it. Her light stuff is nice, but her more meaningful songs feel like a diary account of the times. Her songs were played at every protest I've been at in the recent past and it felt right. So happy she knows what her art is doing and that she's getting recognized for her contributions. This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.

BillieGOAT 5,227
Guys. Just because she doesn’t have radio hits / doesn’t write music that’s your exact taste (aka dance bops or whatever it may be) doesn’t mean she doesn’t deserve awards here’s a sampler of 3 of my favs to get you started: you CANNOTTTTTTTTT tell me that this woman is not dripping in (at the VERY LEAST) vocal talent. And the melodies!!!! the production!!!!! the songwriting!!!!! UGH i love her so much. I believe in H.E.R. supremacy
