Is there really anyone on this forum who has followed Gaga for at least a couple of months, who has seen her attend at least one of the award ceremonies to which she has been nominated, who has read one of her tweets, who has any idea what she does and what she is, who actually thinks that she might have burst into public tears, and thrown herself disconsolately into the arms of another actress in front of everyone, because she didn't win the award?

Gaga is one of the most famous women in the world. It's a beautiful thing that she has achieved this kind of fame but it will always be a double edged sword - she will always be a target for people and publications looking to get attention. There are so many photos of Gaga smiling and looking beautiful last night. Sadly it isn't the first time and won't be the last time that someone makes up a story using Gaga to get clicks. This is the world we live in and all the more reason to just enjoy and appreciate her.
Gaga obviously admires and respects Helen Mirren. And I remember loving the photos of Helen and her husband at the Bitter End five years ago when Gaga was there for the dive bar tour.

I mean she's an emotional person and it's possible she shed a few tears. But...I also have a hard time buying she like broke down crying/sobbing considering there are a lot of pics of her smiling with Bradley, Selena, etc.

I feel like this might be them trying to pull a "look how upset psychotic Gaga is that she lost, she's sobbing" (then again, maybe I'm reading too much into it but considering how nasty film twitter was towards her...).

They def go out of their way to drag her. They don't take her seriously so they latch onto whatever they can to propel the narrative that shes ridiculous. Imo. Then stan twitter gets to have a field day with it as well. Then if you call that out the reaction is... oh you silly gaga stan, shes objectively ridiculous just accept it.

I think she was probably just getting emotional from meeting an inspirational role model like Dame Helen Mirren, just like when she got emotional meeting Dame Julie Andrews.

She was clearly being emotional over meeting Helen Mirren who is a legend, Gaga is not the type of person who cry for losing an award, not in public at least, and I'm sure she was expecting to not win.
