what i am saying and my boiling point is, is what is the point of this other than to worry others and remind people of already shitty situations they are in. obvi this can b discussed. this just doesn’t seem the way to do it. there is alot of hearsay in this thread and nothing to back up claims. there is no links posted to anything news worthy to see direct people to make their own opinions on an issue. just a lot of he said she said. and people over there don’t need to b constantly reminded of how awful it is cuz i can bet they kno. if we rly care for the people over there let’s repost gofundme’s, let’s repost things that might help refugees trying to escape, let’s post links if anyone is over there rn to kno this is something u can reach out to. point being discussion is fine but we should also help the ones who are distraught and facing the hard of it have some relief from the ones not rly effected

So if I'd condense all of your posts, you're basically saying "I don't wanna hear bad things, bc I wanna have a worry-free life".

Short memo from the real world over here: Bad things happen all the time, and now something horrible is happing right in front of many of our doorsteps (and even in some others' living rooms). And we wanna and will talk about it. Why? Bc this is an international forum, with many people from Europe (including me). It's not the nicest feeling, that not even 1,000 kilometers away from me a war is happening. And I can't even imagine how the people over there must feel.

And if you followed this and the other thread about this war, you already may have found numerous links to fundraisers and all the stuff where people can help the Ukrainian people even from afar.

And a last thing: Your "this is a Lady Gaga forum, so why's there politics" argument is kinda dumb, I'm sorry. Yes, it's a Gaga forum, but this is also a place for people to discuss their favorite topics outside of the Gaga realm, and yes, also politics. It's because we as Gaga fans found a platform where we can connect in a safe space and talk freely about stuff we care about.

So there's a simple solution if you don't like these kinds of threads: Ignore them. If you wanna live in that bubble you seem to want, I won't stop you. But please let us discuss what's important to us in peace.

The EU and NATO can't do whatever they like, Ukraine is neither an EU member or a NATO member. Having the entire EU or NATO go to war will trigger the biggest world war to date. There will literally be over 30 countries with NATO.

Who said you had to get caught up with news on a Lady Gaga forum, go get some real information. That's your issue, you are just too lazy to actually figure out things yourself and have to ask people who can't even give you proper information. If you don't want to be a part of something that has the potential to trigger another world war, where Russia has just performed the biggest invasion in Europe since WW2 then for the love of god sh*t the f*ck up. Nobody wants you here.
