I'm sure he knows the damage he has done not only for the economy or people of Russia, but for the reputation of the whole country. Flashing nuclear bomb-card is extremely petty move, as he would have 8 other countries with nukes against him. For each nuke he sends he'll receive 10. Oh and look how disgusting their tactic is.. But it may also serve as a deterrent in some sense. Putin may see the amount of aid they are receiving and could potentially encourage them to reconsider this war. We can only hope those are his intentions with those tweets. War is a game of overwhelming force and which side's resources outlast the others. It also puts other countries in danger of being threatened but he doesn't seem to back down. Good for him but Im not sure how this will end. I feel pessimistic and like maybe URSS will be back, and that we have no choice until Putin dies or something.
