I partially agree with you, BUT I will say that since so many people communicate over the internet, the authentic political voices (yours, mine or otherwise) DO make a difference eventually as people see what perspectives people have. And if enough people have the same perspective that challenges the status quo, change can happen.

The internet isn't THE place to make change happen, but since majority of Gen Z (the future of this world) use the internet more than any other generation, I would say it's actually more important to voice "wokeness", and more destructive not to.

But there are plenty of people online who are just being political for the clout or because it's trendy and "cool".

Being upset & disgusted by someone working with another artists’ abuser isn’t “fake wokeness” 🙄 that is a legitimate issue that triggers real consequences. I feel like it’s pretty easy to identify serious issues & separate that from other shallow issues used to virtue signal.
