Should Gaga avoid scripts with comedic undertones?

I don't want her playing a singer that commits suicide. Nuff of that crap. She method acts, so don't even go there for a second.  Stop glamorizing suicide. LG is a bigger star than Amy W was.  Let a less established singer play Amy.

I absolutely do think she should do a romantic comedy. They can be fun and sexy. F@ck the awards for an era and make something fun. 

I do not want her in an Adam Sandler comedy.  I always want to turn them off halfway through because of bad acting and mediocre scripts.  Also no Tyler Perry show because she is not poc.

You can just say that, instead of starting to blame people who did nothing. That's Gaga's own responsibility, not any of ours.

Gaga has now played a rising pop star, and the wife of a fashion haus...

It still feels very in her realm...I think for anyone to REALLY take her seriously as an actress she has to get out of that "Gaga" bubble...do something completely outside the box...

Also, if Gaga thinks method acting is simply going through whatever psychological trauma the person in the role went through, she has more to learn about it. In fact, her whole "method acting" shtick is frankly off putting at best.

I don't think Gaga should rule anything out, just make the best choices she can at the point where she has to make them. With any movie, you only find out how good it is after it's been made.

And HOG wasn't a terrible choice. Yes, it is not a contender for top 100 movies of all time, but it did well at the box office, Gaga's performance was widely praised and she got some nominations (with number of wins as yet unknown). So what if some people are mocking her on the internet. They're of no concern. They can mock off in fact.

The fact that another "little monster" said this is disheartening. Shes already got alot of music out, listen to those untill she makes something new, she can do whatever she wants and so far shes doing pretty well.
