I was thinking about this. Like when she was featured on that episode of The Hills she was already Lady Gaga then, so surely she was playing the small clubs which only would have required a small cover or admissions fee of no more than $20 (this is probably still the case in today's US prices for this type of "gig").

Yep!! I still have the weekly emails they sent out. I had just turned 18 thay October; and was living only 50min away from SF so me and my friends would go on Thursdays for the weekly 18+ club night. I just checked the email and I stand corrected, it was $15 haha. But there must have only been about 60 or so people max honestly. It was amazing. She sang her first hit, with just 2 dancers on a tiny stage. So much hand touching and everyone got to line up at the end of the night for a hug and a photo! There’s some fun clips on YouTube if you type in “Lady Gaga The Crib SF”

Here’s a part 1 someone made. The $15 days…

I went to see Gaga at club Avalon in Hollywood CA. right before "The Fame" came out. "just Dance" was a hit already..."Poker Face"  was just released and it cost probably $10 entrance fee

I also went to opening night of The Fame Ball Tour, here is my ticket:

Wow it was only $16 for GA! and guess what! If bought her album at the show for $10 you got me meet her after for her to sign it. I will never forget those days I knew she was gonna be BIG! it was all so exciting

@mdance4life @mr.peter - So amazing that you guys went to see her back then! I remember that my co-workers daughters won tickets to go see her on December 31st 2009, it was in Miami. By then my best friend and I were already stans but for some reason I chose not to go (what an idiot; I think she had a m&g after the show that was super cheap too - another friend of mine went and told me about how nice she was, asking him where he went to school and all sorts of things). By the time I saw her for the first time it was in early 2011 and my pit ticket was $88 plus fees which was still a very decent price for an arena tour. Nowadays of course that would cost triple for pit, at least.

Healed My Heart

The Monster Ball was my first Gaga concert, and it was something like $140 per ticket? For a decent reserved seat.

She/her 💗💜💙

Reject False Icons

Anyone who would have given everything to be one of those fans who saw her in bars for $15 and bought the cd to get the meet and greet. Even if that means at least being in your 30’s right now? I swear I’ve cried to be that lucky

TEANUS

Paid $220 for Gaga tickets, but that was 2017 during the Joanne World Tour

However, our tickets ended up being PHENOMENAL. We know that Gaga is a mastermind at allowing the whole arena to be front row at some point during her shows, but JWT was really something else. We were directly facing the main stage on the opposite side of the arena, so when she came to the B-stage with the piano, she was right in front of us. Bought the tickets the day of unknowingly being such great seats :enigma:
