You don't own a look after you've worn it once :bear:   Idc about either of these women, but they both wear a lot of fashion... things are bound to look similar. Naomi is always such a pressed b*tch. Bad attitude. Never grew up as she got older

That’s like saying if Kim went out tomorrow in a meat dress paired with McQueen’s Armadillo heels and a blonde bob that Gaga ‘doesn’t own looks’ and she'd be ‘reaching’ if she said Kim was imitating her. Some looks are iconic to certain celebrities, and when other celebrities wear them or similar looks they mostly always credit them whether in media or personally.

Kim has never once credited Black people for any of the things she and her family stole and used for profit. Gaga, who is a bigger fashion powerhouse and shapeshifter, managed to storm through her parade of endless looks for almost 15 years and barely made any racial controversies (and most are misconstrued instances from over a decade ago). There is no excuse.

And if that’s you in your display picture, I don’t know why as a grown man you’d be comfortable calling a woman (who you don’t even know) a b!tch. I thought we were over that by now.

See this is the VERY dangerous territory you are stepping in, nobody would call out Kim for trying to copy Gaga because Gaga is white! You are essentially saying that everybody that tries to copy or get inspired by Beyonce or Naomi is doing it because they are black and is trying to immiate their ‘blackness’. This is what I have been talking about, you are making it a racial controversy when it’s NOT. Its also extremely disrespectful towards those two because you are limiting them and their work to their skin color and race. Forget the talent, the stylist’s good job, etc, Kim copied JUST because they are black. YOU are making it be just about their race and indirectly discrediting them for everything else that they are. It’s like those black owned business that get stolen from and always claiming it’s because they are black owned. Of course some people will steal from them because they are racist and see these owners in the minority and not having the same opportunities, but to just ASSUME always as twitter and instagram does, that the ones stealing has a racial motive is not only harmful and dangerous to that person but it also discredits these black business owners and limits them down to their race. They didn’t steal cause the designs/products/etc were good, it’s JUST because they are black, and ALWAYS. Don’t you see how dangerous this is? We saw it with the Me Too movement and how we have women ABUSE it to hurt innocent men because they can, because we pushed the narrative that we should ‘ALWAYS believe women’... as I have told you in our first conversations, stop living in extremes, situations are not always the same and not always black and white ( no pun intended ).

I already told you to have a good day. I am not reading that soliloquy.

It’s a new day, but of course you won’t because it’s an argument, something you barely managed to bring during our conversations, especially now looking back. Too bad, I understand it’s very hard to change your opinion on something even if you are presented with valid points. I used to believe and fight the same fight you are a year ago until I decided to stop being so one sided and narrow minded and pick apart the points I was trying to make and then I saw how limited they are and how not very far they can go.

I'm with you sis. People denying the Kardashians ripping off black culture will never see the light. They LITERALLY changed their bodies, lips, skin tone, etc to match those of black women. Don't even get me started on the "Bo Derek braids" mess. Just look at Kylie's transformation y'all.

Here's a thought, why don't we listen to what black people have to say about the Kardashians and white people can't say "this isn't cultural appropriation".

Several of the photos in the shoot are rip offs from Beyonce's Lemonade film/era which was inspired by African art.

Anyone denying that the Kardashians appropriate black culture is clearly blind.

I don’t think people deny Kim has ripped off black culture at various points. This conversation is about vogue and Naomi Campbell- in which people say she is ripping off black culture there. When literally, Naomi is a model for European Designers, and none of the clothes in the shoot are distinctively related to African Culture.
