Not to mention, hair is such a great way to visually denote the passage of time. Glad he is on Gaga's team and that they fought to have more than two hair looks. Gaga even admitted that her and Freddy tried hard to get Ridley to let them do wigs, and it took Freddy cutting and styling a wig on Gaga's head for him to okay it. I don't get it. You'd think a seasoned professional like Ridley would understand the importance of wardrobe. He approved all that special effects sh.it for Jared Leto which took many, many hours to apply every day, but wouldn't allow Gaga's professional team to do multiple wigs??? Make it make sense well I think because he was more interested in the "realness" part of it... looking at Patrizia's old pics, we can see she didn't really have a lot of different hair styles. Make it make sense He's known for his productions ending early and coming out behind the original budget, so maybe he didn't want to spend too much on wigs and found it unnecessary. Fredric was probably used to passionate obsessives like Ryan Murphy and Bradley Cooper. I read Ryan likes to look at and approve of every wardrobe choice for the characters in his shows (IIRC he even sketched out a dress design for The Countress on AHS).
