 that's sad. I hope it was because the storyline, production-wise, actually called for the use of screens and not a real landscape.

Isnt it more the direction and acting?

its slow paced for no reason.  Just actors staring into nothingness trying to be deep? Everyone is gloomy, with an attitude, with a fake voice. Awkward body postures.. what i get just doesnt fit what theyre trying to convey

Honestly you're right. But the pacing is a writing issue imo. I probably wouldn't notice it that much if the acting wasn't that bad, though. I wonder what Rosamund Pike thinks about that show.
