NFRatwell 23,290 Posted February 3, 2022 Share Posted February 3, 2022 It’s crazy to think since it’s a newly released album, but I just wanted to put it into perspective: It took 3 years and 10 months between the C2C recording sessions ended (July 2014) for Gaga to get back in the studio to record her second jazz album (May 2018), next month will mark 3 years and 10 months between the end of the LFS recording sessions (for vocals). As much as y’all love your popGa, I think she was born to make jazz I hope she still releases standards too, she talked about wanting to carry those songs with her into the future, and it would be a shame for her to have her own versions of them that she only performs live (I’m looking at Call Me Irresponsible, Someone To Watch Over Me, Mambo Italiano, etc.).
