Scream 6 & 7 (fanfic)

With the current box office of Scream 2022, they're going to set their sights on a new trilogy for sure! And I just read some people are thinking that Gale will be the opening kill for the next one. I don't agree, they will save Gale's death for the third movie. As a franchise you will go out with a bang and fans would go crazy mad if you let Sidney die.. I think Gale's part in Scream II (6) will be minimal and she will die in III (7).
Here is a cute little fanfic about this: 

SCREAM II (6)

When Ghostface inflicts another plague of attacks, Gale finds herself on the other side of the world due to work. Because of this, she won't be physically present at the bloody events in this movie. Yet we get to see a (or couple) moments of her through calls and/or (video) chat with Sam, Sid, Tara. Jn those scènes Gale gives tips about how to find Ghostface. Or she will give the girls strength to persevere or something like that. Anyhow, it will make the audience feel suspicious and question: is it Gale behind the mask?

At the end of the movie, after the big reveal of Ghostface (who wasn't Gale), Sam, Sid and Tara try to take out the character who was behind the mask. Ghostface however, manages to outsmart Sidney and stabs her couple times.

GHOSTFACE: 'I said I was going to write your part out!'

Sidney offcourse had anticipated this move and she manages to take out Ghostface. 

SIDNEY: 'you can't write out the 'it girl'.

Sam, Tara and Sidney feeling safe and Sidney is going back to her family. The two sisters stay behind together. And while we still see Sidney cars driving away in the distance, there, out of nowhere, BAM - a second Ghostface killer who begin to stab Sam, who dies a gruesome, bloody death.
Sam was meant to be the new Sidney, so with her death Ghostface is basically saying:

'in this new age, I do can write the 'it-girl' out'. .

This is the point in the movie where the public goes: It's Gale, I knew it!
But when the new Ghostface will attack Tara and almost kill her, he  /she is get shot.
The camera turns and there we see Gale. Gale runs to Tara, asks if everything is okay and turns back to Ghostface. However,

Ghostface is.. gone.
End of part II (movie 6)

Ending part III (Scream 7):

The ending of this last part of the trilogy will feel reminiscent of its predecessor: Scream II ended with a helpless Tara facing Ghostface, rescued by Gale.
In this part, it will be Sydney who will stands hopelessly eye-and-eye with Ghostface. She really seems unable to escape this time and everything points to the death of our favorite character. But then there's Gale, again the savior of the day, and she manages to save Sidney. Only this time she needed more than just a bullet.
She saved Sidney, by giving her own life. While we see a dead Ghostface, the camera shift and we see one last emotional scene between Gale and Sid:

SIDNEY: 'why did you do it?'

GALE: 'every franchise needs an 'it- girl'. 
Gale dies.

A hard cut brings us to a cemetery, where we see Sidney laying flowers at Dewey's grave. Then she walks to Gale's grave and places a flower too. She wants to leave but then she sees a crying Tara, sitting next to a grave. Sidney walks to Tara and we see that it's Samantha's grave. Tara has an emotional monologue along the lines:

TARA: 'after all this violence and death, it feels like life has no purpose. What if I just can't take it anymore?'.

with tears in her eyes Sid looks at Tara ands says:

SIDNEY: 'life always have a purpose, especially yours!”

Tara looks confused asking why? Whereupon Sidney says:

SIDNEY: 'because as a wise woman taught me recently; every franchise needs an 'it-girl'. 

Sidney puts her arm around Tara and they walk towards the horizon.

I agree that the next move that they will probably do will be cutting Samantha. Something tells me that she’s going to die in the next one, probably in the ending.

 

I agree that they have to chance a little bit the scheme of the movie. They need to put a cliffhanger in the ending (a GF not revealed)

I hope that the sixth will be set in the college where Chad, Mindy and Tara are going.

the death of chad will probably bring Sam there.
