I always wondered how close they got to meeting considering Bloodpop and Grimes are best friends, and Hana and Grimes had heard Chromatica before it released. He has 2 degrees of very close separation to Gaga, so he would've at least heard Grimes and Hana talking about Gaga, or even heard her music around the house.
