Leoooo 2,345 Posted January 27, 2022 Share Posted January 27, 2022 Everything, including masks, has pretty much been lifted from England since yesterday as Plan B came to an end. The numbers are looking promising and Boris has pretty much said we need to learn to live with it and accept we're all probably going to get it, just get jabbed. Ive had covid and most of my friends / work mates (I work in a prison) have also had it, it sucks. I have had all my jabs so it wasnt too bad, a mild flu feeling but no taste. Personally, i'm glad I get to live my life again, I wont pretend to be fighting for lockdowns and the hell that was 2020 onwards, I am responsible for myself and others and I am glad I have the freedom to do that, and exist in a world that isnt so unnatural & mentally damaging. Numbers which none of our neighbouring countries added to their own death toll themselves even though the same thing happened in Norway, Denmark and Finland for instance. Sweden's daily death toll was under control before the vaccines even were available. This was still with no masks or lockdowns, our hospitals were never under any pressure either. There’s also mask use, aggressive testing campaigns, strategic vaccination campaigns, etc. I’m against doing nothing and opening everything up and just giving up (like my country the US has done). It’s just not sustainable… and I’ve been pro lockdown for the majority of the pandemic but it’s been 2 whole years. We have sacrificed so much already and unless a variant is incredibly vaccine resistant or is particularly deadly we have to find ways of living with it.
