Unless you are a virologist or an expert, you can’t just say that. Going all out at the  wrong timing, could take us a year back.

I am as annoyed as you by all of this, but I see pattern of lockdown cycles because going all out too soon. I would rather believe and listen to the experts.

They’re now going for the “let’s infect everyone” route. Instead of trying to contain the spread. US did the same and we are now at nearly 3K dead every day. 

Herd immunity looks like is the goal but I hope a new variant that is deadlier doesn’t pop up and makes this even worse. 

I would rather call this the lets accept that this virus exists an we have to move on at some point we cant keep doing lockdowns forever

Yes, but there are so many more cases than it also means more hospitalizations and deaths in general, even if as a whole, the percentage of hospitalizations among those who are infected is lower.

No one said we want lockdowns and masks forever (not that choosing to wear a mask whenever tf I want is any problem but sure let's act like it's the end of the world), but rushing this crap is only gonna make the pandemic last longer. But yeah sure by summer it will be gone, the same thing that was said last summer lmao. Let's just decide that this is an endemic now and move on, 10/10 logic that is totally not motivated by capitalistic intentions and greed and FULLY motivated by the gov's desire to make people feel better. Sadly for you, viruses don't work that way and they won't just chill the second you decide that you accept them  But sure let's kill more people from covid and from the endless illnesses that are not getting proper treatment because of how overwhelmed the healthcare sector is because a bunch of people feel like moving on because they're bored at home (as if going out and enjoying life is not possible when you're triple vaxxed and taking proper safety precautions lmao)

Sorry to say but the only people who look ridiculous still are those who continue to advocate for lockdowns and mandates. By the way, lockdowns have been proven ineffective from the start since in many instances, the number of cases and deaths increased despite being "locked down." Your type are finally becoming a loud minority and it truly makes me happy to see society finally waking up and realizing we have wasted two years of our lives to "stop the spread."

Good, capitalism is what makes the world go round. It's unrealistic to expect businesses to stay closed for two years, for people to sit home and collect unemployment, and generally keep the economy in shambles for a virus that now has mostly effective vaccines and proven safety measures (lockdowns excluded).

O please lmao stop being so dramatic and stop shaming people for wanting to just live again there is nothing  wrong whith that also thats not all this is about the economie suffering alot from these lockdowns so how about you try to look at the bigger picture instead of bashing people wanting to live again
