Celine Dion Cancels Remaining NA Dates of Courage World Tour

Due to a longer than expected recovery from an injury late last year, Celine is cancelling the North American dates of her Courage World Tour. These dates were rescheduled from 2020, when the Covid-19 Pandemic forced her to postpone the highly successful tour. This cancellation comes on top of her already cancelled debut residency at Resorts World Hotel in Las Vegas in November 2021. A statement is below:

I was really hoping that I’d be good to go by now, but I suppose I just have to be more patient and follow the regimen that my doctors are prescribing. There’s a lot of organizing and preparation that goes into our shows, and so we have to make decisions today which will affect the plans two months down the road. I’ll be so glad to get back to full health, as well as all of us getting past this pandemic, and I can’t wait to be back on stage again. Meanwhile, I’ve been very touched by all the words of encouragement that everyone’s been sending to me on social media. I feel your love and support and it means the world to me. - Celine xx

I got tickets for my Mom's birthday since she LOVES Celine and I am so sad about this.  But I am wishing Celine the best recovery for her health.

I'm low-key worried about her, she's been unwell for a while now. I just hope they're not hiding something more serious, I wish her well.

Not to sound too much like a worry wart, but I feel the same. She hasn't been active on social media since at least October. She had rebounded quite well, imo, after the deaths of her husband and brother a few years ago. When I saw her in Miami for this tour back in Jan. 2020 (the day after her mom died no less), she was on top of her game. I hope whatever is causing these spasms goes away soon.

Damn that sucks. I’m grateful I had the chance to see this show when she was here in Philly back in February 2020 a few weeks before everything shut down.

I hope she recovers soon.
