What Chromatica songs will survive?

At this point it seems very apparent that the Chromatica ball will not happen.  Honestly, I can also see Gaga finishing up her residency with jazz shows.  If this is the case, that would mean we (unfortunately) never got a show dedicated to showcasing Chromatica.

I think Gaga’s next pop shows will be either a “greatest hits” tour or for a new pop album in like 2 years.  While she will always love and be grateful for pop music (and will probably record/perform it throughout her career), it is becoming clear that pop isn’t what makes her the happiest.  Chromatica was written while she was in an especially dark place, so I think those songs are incredibly hard for her to perform.  All of that being said, what Chromatica songs do you think will survive and be performed at her next pop show?

Personally I can’t answer this question right now, so I’d love to see everyone else’s opinion.  Also, please don’t turn this into a pitty party for us not getting The Chromatica Ball.  If you don’t support Gaga doing what makes her happiest, you are not a true fan.

Apart from the singles I think Free Woman and Sour Candy will be included, at least for an interlude

and perhaps Babylon

Actually I see this as very realistic, SL, ROM & SC are well known and I would even argue that Chromatica II / 911 is fairly well known to an extent, as for Alice, FW, Replay & Babylon I think they're big fan favorites so I don't see them going anywhere

MANiCURE 6

Very honestly... I only see Rain On Me becoming a real classic at her shows.

Maybe she'll sing Stupid Love and Free Woman sometimes. Mayyyyybe Chromatica II + 911. But that's it.

It’s possible she could end up just doing a greatest hits tour without a new album. That would give her something to give the fans as well as time to work on the next album.

Please stop this narrative. This is not “clear.” Stop projecting this assumption. Every interview she does, she mentions how music is the main outlet for her creative expression, and up until now everything she’s done has been pop oriented. She totally could switch up, but she’s given us no legit indication that she will or that she’s for whatever reason over pop music.

Again, there’s no indication of this either. Yes the songs deal with some dark subject matter, but the album is largely about “dancing the pain away,” which is a good thing, right? We’ve not seen her perform anything except 911 and stupid love, so this conclusion is kinda baseless. I just can’t fathom she’d release music that she wouldn’t even have the strength to perform. It’s really not that deep. At the bottom line, it’s still just pop music.

To answer the question though, I really don’t know. 911 seems likely since she performed it already and it’s a fan favorite. Stupid love being the lead single, so that makes sense. Possibly Babylon, Free woman, and an acoustic version of 1000 doves too.

Since when are Free Woman and Babylon considered favorites? Free Woman has been dragged to the pits of hell and back since it’s been released and everyone kept on bitching about the studio version of Babylon since the beginning of time. Even the Haus Lab version was dragged when it was released on Dawn of Chromatica by many users in this cult site. :bear:

From what I've seen Free Woman & Babylon have been well received, of course the ones who strongly dislike them will be very vocal about it and you'll see it, but overall I would consider them favorites especially if you consider that Free Woman is the 6th most streamed song off of Chromatica on Spotify; I've also never seen anyone drag the album version of Babylon but I saw disappointment in the Haus Labs Version (but that's not the version I was talking about) :poot:
