Sometimes I wish she'd just let the music talk but being a pop artist with a giant record label she'd never be allowed to release stuff with no promo like indie artists do. Not to mention the would be lack of great music videos and performances that require a big budget.

She did release things without any promotion (such as Cake), but they weren't on albums and they weren't released as singles. Is that what you mean?

It's her job to make music, absolutely, and she's been doing that. She is still on tour supporting her previous album, and hasn't even made it into the U.S. yet for the supporting tour. And here we are, pressuring her to move forward out of an era that hasn't even finished yet. If anything, it's ****ing annoying and ungrateful that fans keep "demanding" new material after she's already shared a few songs with us in the meantime, and we're also aware of the ARTPOP app coming soon. And reality check, she's not just a musician or artist. She's also an activist. She has a lot more going on than just her music career, and let's not forget that fact that she hardly has a personal life.

I'm certain she can handle the pressure, hence the joke she made on LM.com. I am not implying that; she handles pressure better than anyone I know or know of. Let's not take this out of proportion.

No personal life => no Inspiration => no quality music.

Monsters, if you want good music let her ****ing breath. She's been working on albums non-stop for the last 4 years. Damn it.

She's gonna end up having a 10-year break because of this ****.

If I remember right, the singles releases pretty much exactly followed iTunes sales data. So in that sense she did let the fans choose. She never did say that the GGD poll was anything official.

Creative problems (like artist's block or writer's block) arise when one is faced with a task which seems too big, the artist is under too much pressure so she is in fear because she might not do things well. This creates stress which stops the flowing of those creative juices.

She just needs to relax some.
