So Glee started decades of censorship by the Church and the conservatives, who prosecuted anyone who did anything outside the conservative mindset? oh, okay....

If anything, I'd blame it on twitter cuz twitter is designed to fester outrage and it's where most cancellations happen...

Also, take a look at the accounts that tweeted those tweets - the first one straight up has Alex Jones in their profile pic, like come on - most of their retweets is antivax sh*t - anyone to the left will be a 'raging leftist' to that person :laughga:

The other guy retweets NFT stuff with occasional 'Jordan Peterson is great' tweet thrown in - yeahno, it was his gf that was crazy :ladyhaha:

It's a joke! When you give me that look, it's a joke!

Never seen a single episode of Glee, so can’t comment. Regardless of whether or not the woke thing is true, was the show actually any good?:oprah:

It started out REALLY strong and then got worse and worse. I did choir and theater in high school so I found the satire from the first season hilarious.

Glee aged so poorly. Does anyone rewatch that show? I doubt it.

I have and my sister is rewatching with her daughter

This is stupid but also arguing that cancel culture doesn't exist trying to mask it as something else doesn't make it less bad.

Glee could have been a way better show than in turned out to be.

With a more realistic and grounded perspective, it would have made a more serious impact in young kids. Sadly, it became a meme show.

This entire paragraph sent me :air: :lmao:

...that the members of “New Directions” are a Diversity and Equity Inclusion Committee’s dream. You have multiple Asian students, one black girl (who compounds her marginalization by being fat), a lesbian couple (one of whom is Latina), a gay kid, a Jewish girl with gay parents, a disabled boy, a Jewish football player, and the lone straight white guy Finn, who just happens to also be the character who consistently makes the most mistakes. In other words, from a critical theory perspective, everyone except Finn in this show is “oppressed” or “marginalized,” and even Finn has to face some marginalization when dealing with his one-time girlfriend’s pregnancy (Quinn, who manages to earn her stripes as a marginalized person by being a teen mother).

This is too funny. :air:

Americans and their politics, do they even sleep well at night? Thankfully I follow Yaweh, and I'm grateful for everything He has given me! Goodnight!
