Ivy 12,488
Yeah I do have sympathy for her, especially from listening to Gaga talk about her character as a woman being pushed to the edge. How a lot of women can be pushed this way in this world because of not having respect, but Patrizia went that one step too far in fighting back. But it's not in the way that I would excuse what she did. Like I don't know if I feel bad for her now, but I feel empathy for what she experienced that had her end up there, if that makes sense the meow in zombieboy
Pennywise 36,079
No, because I do not condone murder So long ggd, it was nice while it lasted.
Guest
She might have acted the breakup wisely than by killing her husband. Rejection is one thing - I understand she was abandoned, but homicide is not in my place. It's murder.
danbekim 3,062
I don't feel bad for her 99% of the movie except the during the scene with the photo album. I'm sorry I know she's a bad person but still, my brain just registers Gaga sobbing If you have some rad remixes you made laying around, send it to me!! Anderson123 38,218
I think we saw very little of what her life was like after she split up with Maurizio so I don't think we got enough "material" to be in her place to even try to understand her intentions. As opposed to something like Charlize Theron on Monster. She was a serial killer but you see the horrible things she went through, the rage and everything that lead her to committ those crimes (the first ones I guess because she showed no remorse with the next ones), so by the end of the movie I got to feel bad for Aileen because her miserable life got her to that point. Ashley 9,372
Yes 100%, Maurizio was awful to her. And you guys you can have sympathy for someone without condoning murder.

LUCARTPOP 5,924
Up to when Mauricio dumped her, definitely. But after hiring someone to kill her ex-husband? Nope. Can't say I understand her because I haven't experienced the same thing, but she's fierce villain (even if she's a real person lol).
gothicdream 39,546
I am able to feel some empathy for her, as I try to feel empathy for every human. But ultimately, no. Lots of us have gone through shitty upbringings and relationships with bad people and most of us don't deal with it by killing someone.
