I have only found the prices of two of the bracelets that she wears. The others probably worth the same amount, because of the silver and the diamonds.

Its all gross to me. There isn't any artistic or creative merit to this even, its all for show. 

but she doesn't own any of this expensive stuff, she wore it because she's a big fan of Audrey Hepburn, she wore it for what it represented, the whole look was in honour of her and her legacy in hollywood, she has said she is one of her fashion icons. it wasn't about the vanity, prestige or status.

Exactly lol Gaga doesn’t collect these things because she wants to appear rich or brag like the Kardashians or other popstars. She does it because she genuinely values art and fashion.

For example, she collects expensive McQueen pieces because she wants to honour him, similarly she purchased millions of MJ’s clothes because she wants them to be safe.

I admit, I did not know that. That's cool but I still think its pretty vain to even wear something that expensive. 

I guess I am just looking at it from a different perspective.

It's baffling to me how humans still think jewels are worth anything in the 21st Century. It's literally caveman mentality "oh look, pretty rock sparkles".

And to those complaining about "the rich wasting money for vanity", yes that's true but even if they didn't, that doesn't mean completely unrelated poor people would instantly stop being poor. And to be fair, keep in mind that most (if not all) of these looks were either borrowed, sponsored, or simply would never be sold either way. These are estimated virtual costs if they were to be sold, but many won't ever be sold or were ever bought in the first place. The Tiffany necklace is evaluated at 35M$+ but it's been stated over and over again that it is not up for sale, aka virtually priceless. It could be sold for 100M$ the same way it could be sold for 2$ if humanity falls and food becomes the new luxury.

yes i guess that's a common misconception when people look at gaga with this outrageous and extravagant outfits, see her as the epitome of vanity and wealth, but what people don't realize is that for example in the begging of her career she spend every penny she won into her fashion and shows, to the point that she was in literal bankruptcy a lot of times because of it, she didn't save anything for herself in a long time, she didn't own a home or cars, she was on the road all the time, the inspiration, the art and the sensibilities comes first and the price not what she values, she was 100% devoted to her art, unlike a lot of celebrities and artists that might appear humble and simple but in reality live a very luxurious lifestyle, own a lot of proprieties, a lot of cars etc. Of course gaga has settled out by now, but this mentality hasn't change, appearances is a very interesting topic in this pop and celebrities world

I don't know why they didn't post a picture of the first look of that night. I mean the McQueen dress with the exaggerated hips and gloves was 100× better than this. And was also probably more expensive.
