The level of promo an MPG legend like her deserves! They are doing everything to make TDD a hit abd it's working!

Almost makes me sad how Interflop has done her dirty over the years. Not supporting Disease, not optimizing Abra smashery. They can't just keep using her to make them money and not maximize her chart success. I hope Gaga's team sees that.

It's a fact that this song really is more comercial than all the singles before. I saw this as well, and she's getting some reposts from past interviews as well. The additional song was a great gamble because it injects new life into this era, with the tour going on till february with the Grammys, the whole mayhem era lives for at least 1.5 years, if she doesn't drop another surprise. Which is great, and not just because of DWAS.

We can't keep blaming Interscope. No physicals for Abracadabra? Was that still Interscope or a conscious decision of Gaga's team?

TBF it would work with a lot of songs and you cant do it for all of them. You can not promote this much for every major artists singles. Only 1 song can be #1 on covers and play lists at a time and and other things too

 

Labels will make choices on what they wanna push but at the end of the day not all songs that have the potential to be hits can be hits, there isnt room in the market for everything to be a hit just because it can

 

Its not like Gaga doesnt get her fair share of promo. She gets play lists and tv performances relatively often and many of her lead singles have had radio deals and this is despite her being an artist that already has name recognition by herself

 

But they also have other artists they wanna promote too especially new artists, thats the way its always been. We cant expect every Gaga single will get top promo treatment thats just not realistic. Regardless this era has gotten good promo overall excluding Disease.
