Shawn Mendes has recently decided to take a digital detox. The singer and songwriter opened up on having a ‘hard time’ with social media at the moment, and has decided to take a break.

Taking to his Instagram he posted a video and expressed his gratitude towards fans for supporting him throughout and connecting with his latest release track, It’ll be Okay.  source

i don't know him of course but he really feels like such a good person. Like he doesn't have any bad or mean vibes, just very humble and chill.

That's why it kinda makes me feel bad people (and gheys) give him such a hard time. 

I really don't care if they do it to Drake, Bieber, Sheeran, etc because they have this cocky, bratty, frat bro side but with Shawn it feels like that sweet friend that constantly gets bullied and don't deserve it all.

He seems such a good guy! He doesn’t deserve any hatred towards him. I wish good things will come to him.

For a long time I didn’t have a profile on any platform. Now I use Instagram, and I have found a way to use it as much/less as I want. At the moment I haven’t used the app for several weeks and it’s great. 

I hope that young people understand that there’s nothing wrong in taking a break from social media. Just do it cuz it will be great!
