Britney charts in the UK for the first time since 2016

21 years after its release Britney's 'My Only Wish (This Year)' has charted in the UK Top 100 and becomes her first song to do so since 2016. My Only Wish (This Year) becomes Britney's first UK chart entry of the 2020's. She has now charted in four different decades (90s, 00s, 10s, 20s)

Mariah Carey and Britney Spears are now the only two female artists who debuted in the 90s to have a solo song from 4 different decades chart in the UK!

Britney has not acknowledged the song's existence in the past 20 years. It is pretty amazing it charted with zero promotion and it just grows year upon year.

I wonder if it'll slowly start to grow year on year and become more of a Christmas classic.
