I have a ticket to see Katy Perry next month on the 15th and was gonna take my grandmother to Vegas for her 80th birthday at the same time (she could gamble and have fun while I would be there to see Katy) but just canceled the trip cause of Omicron and out of safety for my elderly grandma. Now I’m stuck with the concert ticket and will probably have to sell it at a loss if Katy doesn’t cancel. I prayyy that she does though because at this point Miss Rona is ruining my plans and making me lose money :spin:

I sold my Gaga Vegas tickets the day of and I only lost like $20. Sell them now and someone will snatch them up!

Maybe you can try getting a refund?

NYC has been very pro-vax, requiring vaccine cards, etc. Much more than the rest of the country lol I'm in NC and you can go anywhere without even a mask, no questions asked.

If that’s true, that would explain it. But how are all the artists fine with it?

Simple, because the artists set their own terms for their shows. There is no vaccine mandate for any indoor venue here in North Carolina, but some theatres in the bigger cities require them. Even for those venues that do not require them for every show, some touring acts require their attendees to be vaccinated. For example, the NC Symphony performed near me earlier this week and required all audience members to be fully vaccinated before entering the venue, despite no such mandate being enforced at the local or state level.

You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.

I  feel similarly.  It’s been two years that they’ve been holding my money and it feels like they aren’t prioritizing it at all and not communicating about it at all.  I think you actually are able to get a refund if they ever announce a new date, but while it’s still in “limbo” I think they just get to keep our money. It’s ridiculous at this point. I think they need to just pick new dates soon, or else they just need to cancel it and refund us. Not just ignore the fact they’re sitting on all of our money indefinitely when many of us could have used the cash back especially during the pandemic.
