One was a mime and the other was dressed as a bellhop, and they guided her through the show’s different segments. You’ll find traces of A New Day in pretty much every residency to follow it because Celine is what made doing the Vegas thing popular in the modern era, and every show after her owes a lot of it’s flair to it. I would honestly say A New Day is still the most theatrical musical residency to ever hit the strip, even more than Enigma.
