Girl Mariah Carey's twitter got hacked in the same way too. Y'all doing the most. If they quickly released a statement saying it was hacked there's no need to doubt them

Agreed. Everyone needs to remember this was 5 years ago when there was much less security on social media accounts. You didn't get an email every time someone logged in and there was no 2-factor authentication (text, code, etc.).

This was also around the time when major celebrities had their iCloud accounts hacked and nudes were being released. So hacks were common and real at the time.

I don’t remember that but I do remember the chain smoker drama… feel like we would’ve all known this years ago if true

lol at them now, they had such egos bc of that Halsey song

Yeah, they’re just losers now that few remember. I kinda liked them before the Gaga shade happened. I hated #Selfie, but Roses was actually good. Then they took it too far in that direction plus became arrogant trolls in the process.

That's a lie. 2 factor authentication and email alerts for potential hacks is not a new invention. They've been around longer than 5 years.

You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.

You had to manually turn 2FA on, which was buried in the settings. Twitter (and others) didn't encourage using it at all like they do now with pop-ups and emails. Except for the tech savvy, no one knew or cared what that option was.
