Megan earns a Bachelor of Science Degree and Humanitarian Award

On Saturday, the Grammy winning artist earned her degree in health administration from Texas Southern University. 

She dedicates this to her late mother and late grandmother.

Her ultimate goal is to open and oversee an assisted-living facility using the money she earns from her rap career.

The following day, Megan was awarded the Houston Hero Award by Houston Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee.

Megan, along with Popeyes, recently made a six-figure donation to the Houston Random Acts of Kindness organization.

Megan also made a large donation to Houston after the devastating aftermath of winter storm Uri and encouraged her partner brands to do the same.
