I predict democrats lose the house and the senate in 2022 and in 2024 we see the return of Donald in the White House

Dems are losing everything in 2022. Then, they'll spend all of 2023-2024 whining, crying, and pointing fingers while forcing the next useless corporate Dem onto the ticket. Meanwhile, the Republicans will buckle down and groom another candidate who will sweep the country in next Presidential election.

You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.

It's true though. In essence, the office of the President is nothing more than a ceremonial figure head. Everything that he signs has to go through some congressional oversight. Same with the governors.

Everyday I wake, is another day the Perfect Illusion of leaders in western democracies leading their parties to do big cool and bold things, slowly dies, just a little inside. Moderates cant keep ruining the planet like this like it’s getting a bit too messy at this point - keep the living halfway between fantasy and reality shite to the art world.

And what were Trump's plans for student loans?

Trump isn't the President anymore. This is another reason Dems are losing, even after a year they're still stuck on "But Trump this and Trump that". Enough. Move on. Quit living rent free in his head.

please don’t

this isn’t the “vote for biden” argument you think it is. if both are gonna do nothing then that encourages voters to do nothing on election day. how do you not see this obvious take away 😭

I think you mean HE lives rent free in MY head

Well yeah I agree with you of course, he isn't the president anymore and we have to stop talking about him. My point is: we could have another Trump vs Biden in 2024 and I just hope people remember that thins could be way worse than they are now

I’m not sure if they’ll groom another. I think how Trumps legal fortunes turn out will determine if he comes back. I think the gop knows he is essentially the party and if he decides to run I think they will step aside for him to do so. I think no matter who the gop choose to run in 2024 Biden will have a tough time winning against them; but if Donald is the nominee I would put it as 85-90% likely that Donald will crush Biden in a presidential rematch

My bet was Ron Desantis. But with his wife being diagnosed with cancer recently and him announcing a governor re-election campaign, it doesn't seem likely he'll pull up and run for POTUS.

Maybe trump will have deSantis as a running mate? I can’t see anyone else running though for POTUS

Republicans have already overtaken my local school board. It's happening in every corner of America.

That’s because Democrats only vote every 4 years, Republicans do it annually

I mean student loan debt realistically wouldn’t be delayed that much longer. Also it’s not nearly impossible to make money as it was during the beginning stages of the pandemic.

There’s actually a really big vacancy in the workforce currently, making it very possible to get a decent job to make more money since there’s not as much competition as pre-COVID.

Just trying to think positively and proactively with the current information we have. :coffee:

I hope that those who are struggling with regular bills can get some sort of extension. I stopped paying when it got paused but I’m also lucky because I didn’t take too too much out and my payments are too bad. I would be happy if they eliminated the interest because I think that is so messed up to make profits off of going to school who couldn’t afford it to begin with. There has to be some sort of reform because it was dreadful to think about getting into a school, then paying for the school, then actual school work, then even dread it after you finish school.

But you're doing nothing to help.  You're adding to the wave of discontent and making it harder for democrats to gain seats in the senate which would make all your little dreams come true.

You'd rather be "right" and complain than to stand behind the party and get things done.

This is how Republican win even though they're the minority.  They stand behind their people, they fight and they don't attack their own party.

you are.... going insane from fear. Which is like, fair, but wow!

Anyway, Democrats control what they do with their power. You said it yourself - this is how Republicans win, they fight. You're just getting the cause and effect mixed up. The voters are loyal because the politicians do what they want. Now....the politicians have manipulated their voters with fear to only care about stupid racist BS while they do **** all about the economy for the working class, but it is what it is. If we're going to have any political party fighting for us, they have to actually....try....everything they can....
