Adele’s 30 racks up a third straight and total week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. The set earned 193,000 equivalent album units in the U.S.
Of 30’s 193,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S., album sales comprise 149,000, SEA units comprise 43,000 (equaling 57.87 million on-demand streams of the set’s track) and TEA units comprise less than 2,000 units.

30 continues to be a sturdy performer, as it captures the largest third week for any album in more than three years, since Drake’s chart-topping Scorpion earned 260,000 in its third frame (chart dated July 28, 2018).

Congrats Adele. The album is not what I expected, but I love it more and more with every listen.

Also...

3. Polo G’s Hall of Fame rising 69-3 after it was reissued with 14 additional bonus tracks - 78,000 equivalent album units

Why fo they allow this to happen? Why not just release the 14 songs as a new project? This way you can essentially have your debut album chart forever...

They shipped it, but it got shipped back

No surprises with Adele, but Taylor still at number2?? Wow, I thought TV would be way more frontloaded!

I just want her to release 1989 already to witness the crack of the charts :billie:

Kid Laroi released his debut mixtape 'F*ck Love' in July 2020,  then he released deluxe, then another deluxe (this one had "Stay" with Justin Bieber) and then expanded edition so now this album has 35 tracks.
It reached #1 on Billboard in August 2021 - over a year after after release.

I didn't know this, that's actually very sad. I know chart manipulation has been a thing of all times, but this takes the cake.

I mean, we had The Fame Monster, but that one at least that re-release was also made available separately.

And it was nearly 2 years after the original had come out. Plus, though released as a reissue, I think the marketing was squarely on “this is a new release” and they took painstaking effort from the cover art alone to make that known.
