I’m scared. I think Donald Trump will win again in 2024.

:huntyga: Gas prices are rapidly falling

Sure. Tell that to someone who has an hour long commute for work every day and is paying $100 (or more) every week for gas. The average price is $3.338 a gallon, up from $2.158 a year ago, according to the AAA.  :huntyga:

ICE still exists, the detention camps for immigrants still exist and their existance has been exteded by the Biden admin, Biden actually rolled out more fracking permits than Trump did in his presidency, the covid response is still awful,

The country needs an immigration policy and laws. It's about having a process where new immigrants understand the laws and the government institutions and social institutions. It's about not bringing in more people than there are jobs for, so there are not jobless homeless clueless immigrants wandering around not working begging for scraps.  There will always be a need for ICE. When criminals are expelled and they come back, they will be  deported again. Walking across a border with nothing is pure desperation, with a great need for absolutely everything to be provided for them for some period of time.

What exactly do you think Biden needs to do about covid-19? I got boosted a few days ago, 3 shots of vaccine now. N95 masks are instock and available for sale. Hand sanitizer and toilet paper are abundent.

Last time I checked, covid wasn't passed through feces. So while it's great there is an abundance of toilet paper, that doesn't really prove he's done anything to actually combat the virus. More people have died under Biden's tenure than under Trump.

Yes he will be re-elected

but is anything going to change? Is anything actually different ever?

Dumb! We cannot win with Biden in 2024.

Check your calendar. It's 2021 today. That election is 3 years from now. After the midterms. Much living will happen between now and then.

Honestly I feel the exact same way. RIP America: 1776 - 2024. Had a ___ run I guess.

Actually, the only way a Republican won’t win is if Donald Trump runs. If he runs, welcome President Buttigieg.

I love a good Butti-plug. ;)

Start penalizing the non-vaccinated. :ohwell:

I said what I said.

I don’t think we should fine people like Austria is doing the $4000/3months fine…but I do think if you can’t show a vaccination card signed by a doctor, you shouldn’t be able to attend concerts, bars, clubs, theaters, sporting events, restaurants, malls until you can.

I couldn’t run track until I got my shots in the 7th grade. What’s the difference?

“If you cant afford high gases prices, buy a new car. Just do it, stupid!”  #logic

I didn't call anyone stupid. I personally have always bought fuel efficient compact cars, some cheap cheaper used and some new. I haven't bought an electric either, but there are used vehicles being sold that are affordable. It's not stupid to change your vehicle for something more fuel efficient. Car dealers only want to sell you the most expensive car on their lot with the biggest profit margin. A consumer doesn't have to buy that dealer preferred car.

There are still ALOT of Americans who can barely afford a car let alone a fuel efficient car that would save them money. And if they did find an extremely affordable fuel efficient car, it’s probably old and will have a lot of costs in repair.

And isn’t there even a huge used car shortage right now? My friend told me last week he had to go to Austin TX from Columbus Ohio to work and he couldn’t find a car to rent for a few days anywhere.

Amen! There is actually a gay bar, shockingly, about an hour from me that requires proof of vaccine to enter. It's a great safety net. We need more of things like that nation wide.

Most of the people dying this year are unvaccinated by their own choice.  They chose not to get the vaccine. They died when they got sick. This is not Bidens fault. This is the fault of the unvaccinated and the republicans that are supporting the unvaccinated.

Just saying that when this virus hit initially, there was no toilet paper, no n95 masks, no hand sanitizer, no vaccine, no treatments. We've come a long way.

Yeah a lot of the gay bars are starting to go back to mask mandates in Columbus.
