In a recent interview with The Guardian George Clooney  said:
"I was offered $35m for one day’s work for an airline commercial, but I talked to Amal [Clooney, the human rights lawyer he married in 2014] about it and we decided it’s not worth it. It was [associated with] a country that, although it’s an ally, is questionable at times, and so I thought: ‘Well, if it takes a minute’s sleep away from me, it’s not worth it.’”

Not people dragging him for doing something that feels right to his heart. Y’all are way too cynical.

What an inspiring story, George.

Doomed if he did, doomed if he didn’t. That’s how ya’ll are. I appreciate that he had integrity and said no if it was something that felt wrong in his heart.

Instead of this stupid "tryna be woke" behaviour he could've done the day of work, collect the 35M and give them to people in need to help his country you know

Also, the fact that he had to discuss it with his wife before saying no...
