Grammys removed Marilyn Manson as a nominee for best rap song

Manson had been listed as a nominee for best rap song for West’s “Jail” (featuring Jay-Z), a track from DONDA. But the Academy determined that Manson actually co-wrote “Jail pt 2,” which features vocals from Manson and rapper DaBaby. The Grammys have ruled that that is a separate song from “Jail,” the best rap song nominee, though it is still a song on the album, hence Manson’s album of the year nomination stands.

They only removed Manson from one category, he still has a nomination for AOTY

It's harder to remove his nomination for the AOTY category because that is actually a shared work. You can't nominate some writers and exclude some because there are rules they have to abide by.

you said "hopefully DaBaby is next" but DaBaby only has 2 nominations for AOTY (Justin Bieber's Justice (Deluxe), Kanye's Donda).  Justin could submit original album and then DaBaby wouldn't get a nomination for Justice but he decided to submit Deluxe with DaBaby collab
