I think the unfortunate timing of the pandemic and the racial unrest in the USA at the time of release perhaps triggered the pain she felt making the album back to the forefront. It sucks we will never know the true potential of the album promo they had planned. From everything we have learned, it was going to be huge. 

You remind me that it's such a wonderful thing to love.

Does anyone remember when the world went into lockdown and Gaga was on the billboards of Times Square in New York? There was nobody around. The streets were dead. It was wasted promo. It doesn't surprise me that they didn't do much more with the era.
